Senior Associate Product Manager, Machine Learning Personalization

Ad Tech & Customer Intelligence (ATCI) builds products that let Wayfair communicate with new and existing customers effectively across advertising, email, and onsite touchpoints. Wayfair has a huge selection of products and offerings that make shopping for the home easy and exciting. Our goal is to use data-driven strategies to talk to the customer about the product they want, regardless of where they are or what stage of their shopping journey they are in. We are at the intersection of product, marketing, data science and technology which allows us to be a leader in the Ad Technology space.

What You'll Do

  • Help maintain our recommendations platform product vision and roadmap, keeping stakeholders and customers up to date on the top level goals, timelines, and progress
  • Be the subject matter expert on our platform capabilities and individual personalization strategies. Push the limits of our thinking to improve our product and drive better customer experience.
  • Support the delivery, measurement, and performance of our personalization strategies
  • Own the analytics required to prioritize requests and ideas for features; leverage multiple data sources to understand the business value and impact, weighed against the risks and development cost
  • Market our product internally across teams to maximize adoption
  • Deeply understand the technology used in our recommendations platform product, the strong and weak points, and become an expert at what is available

What You'll Need

  • Proven proficiency in SQL; knowledge of Python or R for data analysis / data science applications
  • 1+ year of work experience in analytical or product management setting
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Proficiency in statistics and linear algebra
  • Demonstrable ability to be technically hands-on
  • Drive to deliver amazing products and features on schedule
  • Ability to work across several stakeholder groups and juggle many initiatives simultaneously
  • BA with strong academic record (Master's in a quantitative, analytical, or technical field preferred)
  • Interest in machine learning, data science algorithms, ad tech, and big data
