Job Description

Wayfairs Talent Management team in Berlin is looking for a people-oriented professional to join the team.The HR Intern is a collaborative role that works closely with the rest of the team and key stakeholders across the organization to develop our people and drive impact.  In this role you will enjoy a multi-cultural, fast paced environment where the work you put in daily directly impacts organizational growth. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage confidential documents, such as contracts and physical invoices;
  • Managing our HRIS system and also some administrative work and data entries;
  • Administer legal and regulatory compliance in Germany and the EU
  • Analyze and be able to provide data insights to your team in regards to performance management, and maintain HR metrics
  • Assist the team on administering benefits and leaves, and other processes
  • Perform various other duties as assigned
  • Work cross-funtionally with our main internal stakeholders: Talent Acquisition, Talent Operations and Learning & Development.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in the German language is a must!
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or in process);
  • A real passion and desire to build a career in Talent Management (Human Resources);
  • A curious nature and desire to help make things better and more efficient;
  • Interest in numbers and different systems/tools;
  • Detail-orientation and excellent organization skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English;
  • Experience in the field is not required, but a relevant academic qualification and an interest in a career in the HR area is a must.

  • Friendly and outgoing, with a strong interest in helping others
