We are looking to hire a talented, hands-on manager for our European Warehouse Design team. You will support the implementation of our new e-commerce warehouses and contribute to the rapid growth of our European footprint.

Job description

  • Manage and lead the implementation of material handling systems that enable capacity and productivity improvements
  • Planning and selection of warehousing technology
  • Procurement for various supply chain solutions including hardware, software, & supporting technology
  • Conduction of structural analyses, material flow and area planning for warehouse operations
  • Support for process development and improvement initiatives to reinforce the goal of Operational Excellence
  • Conduction of Motion and Time Studies for the development of future engineered labor standards
  • Contribution to the building and development of a network Labor Management System
  • Process planning and layout design (AutoCAD)
  • Provision of change management guidance, assistance with process and equipment validation including but not limited to development, training, documentation and reporting
  • Practice safe work procedures, and follow all safety rules at all times
  • Return on Investment calculations/ Operational audits
  • Location: Berlin
  • Travel required – 30%


Skills and experience

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, business administration, supply chain management, or a comparable field 
  • Sufficient experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in warehouse planning, material flow planning, or logistics consulting
  • Fluency in English, German is beneficial
  • Detail orientation, strong analytical and organizational skills
  • At least intermediate level in Microsoft Office. Knowledge on Warehouse Management Systems is beneficial.
  • Effectively communication with business partners both local and remote; excellent communication skills; the ability to handle multiple competing priorities; and a strong customer focus
  • Involvement with senior management both internally and externally
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Knowledge of Labor Management Systems and data mining techniques (SQL) is beneficial
